A Whole Bunch of Cards

Since I haven't posted forever, here are some of the cards I have made over the last six months.

This was a thank you card. I got to use my cuddlebug that I got for Christmas. I love it!!!

These were some thank you cards for family. The green ones went to men and the pink ones went to women. Again I got to use the cuddlebug. I love the effect of just rubbing some ink over the embossed image!

This was a card I made for my husband last August. I thought it was nice and manly.

This was a card I made for my husband last Father's day. He loved it!

This is the card I made for my husband for our anniversary.
This is the card I made for my husband for Valentines day this year. Noticing a theme here?! My computer crashed and I lost a lot of pictures. I lost a lot of the pictures of my cards and I gave them away so I can't take any pictures of them. But I could take some of these.

Card for, you guessed it, my husband!

Hair Bows

Over conference weekend I got a lot done! I made all these. I had so much fun. I just learned how to make them. My very favorite one is this white one below. I love it!!!

Sugar Cookies

My husband LOVES cookies! When we were dating and I would scratch his back he would say "I would do anything for some cookies and a back scratch!" I never picked up on the hint. I thought, "Wow, I am such a good girlfriend!" Well, finally his roommate handed me a bag of chocolate chips and said, "Here, would you make the guy some cookies!! All he does is complain that you never make cookies." He still says I don't make cookies enough but when I do, he can eat the whole batch by himself (4 or 5 dozen)! Here were some especially delicious sugar cookies. I got the recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook. You know, the red and white plaid one. They were seriously amazing. They were so good by themselves they didn't need frosting, which is good because he doesn't like frosting. Anyway, not only were they delicious, they were beautiful too. Enjoy the pictures!

Baby Boy Card

My good friend Rachel is having a boy this month. I went to her shower the other day. This is the card I made for her. I love the paper and the colors. I just got a heat gun and embossing powder and I just had to try it out. I think I still have some learning to do, but I thought it turned out ok.

No Sentiment Card

I realize I make a lot of things without ever getting around to posting it. I guess I feel like nobody is looking anyway! Oh well. Here is a card I made because I loved the paper and the stamps and wanted to make them coordinate. You can' t see it in the picture too well but the background paper has some green flowers too so that is where I got the idea for the flowers I colored. Again, I don't have copic's so I used colored pencils. I think they turned out ok.

Thanks for stopping by!

Let's Party

This is a birthday invitation for my niece who is turning one. After having two boys, her mom (my sister-in-law) loves pink. So, it is a very pink, sparkly, girly card. I worry it is too adult for a one year old party. But, this is what I came up with.

Card Recipe:
Cupcake: Doodlecharms
Let's Party: Cuttin Up
Flowers: Home Decor
Paper: The Paper Studio
Stickles and Popdots, of course!

This was a quick thank you card I needed. I loved this paper and wanted to show case it. So I didn't add too much to it. Pink ribbon and "thanks" from Opposites Attract.
