Update

It is not that I haven't been crafty or put things together I just am terrible about posting them.  I have made several scrapbook pages, cards, and blankets.  I have made some things for my kids' rooms and some activities for them.  I will work on posting things, but then again, I am not sure anyone even checks this anymore.  So, here is a preview of some of the things I have done.

This was an idea I got to display my son's pictures.  We were running out of space on the fridge and he had a big empty wall.  I just found some pre-cut round plaques at the store and some scrapbook paper with balls on it.  Painted the plaques, distressed them, mod podged the paper on the plaques.  Stapled twine on the back of each one.  If I had to do it again I would have made the plaques bigger but I like it.

 I know you are impressed by my son's artwork...This was taken close to a year ago and you should see his drawings now! :)

Father's Day

Yah, I know I am terrible at blogging. But better late then never?

This is the father's day card I made for my husband last year. He is getting a Masters in a Microbiology so I thought this little science guy from everyday paper dolls was perfect!!

This was a quick thank you card I needed. I loved this paper and wanted to show case it. So I didn't add too much to it. Pink ribbon and "thanks" from Opposites Attract.

A Baby Boy Card

I have a dear friend of mine that is having a baby boy. I am so excited for her, so, I wanted to let her know I was thinking of her. I used this stamp set from SU. The pictures are not great. The textured paper is from DCWV. The ribbon is from Michaels. I colored it with colored pencils. I don't have copic markers, don't know where to get them, but am interested in them. Anyway, enjoy!

N and A

I made some flannel board pieces for my nephews (I'll post that later) and wanted to make them cards to go with it. I wanted it to be a simple card. Not too frilly but cute. This is what I came up with. The plain paper is from DCWV and I don't know where the striped paper is from. I have had it in my stash for years waiting to find a home! all the circles and the letters were from the Plantin Schoolbook cart. The antenna on the caterpillar were slashes from Opposites Attract, I think. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Just a simple card with paper and ribbon from DCWV. The lettering is from the "Opposites Attract" cart and the flower is from "Home Decor." The flower is attached with pop dots, of course.
